Ingredients You’ll Need

- Medjool Dates: Be sure to use medjool dates (as opposed to other varieties of dates) because they’re big, juicy, and caramel-like. Perfect for stuffing, like in my pistachio stuffed dates.
- Black Coffee: Freshly brewed or leftover black coffee to soak the dates and infuse them with coffee flavor.
- Vegan Yogurt: I use a thick vegan vanilla yogurt from Siggi’s.
- Cocoa Powder: For that classic finishing touch, just like in my tiramisu overnight oats.
How to Make Tiramisu Stuffed Dates (Step-by-Step)

- Step 1: If your dates aren’t pitted, use a knife to slice down the center, being careful not to cut all the way through, and remove the pit. Add the dates and coffee to a bowl. Soak for 1-2 hours to absorb coffee flavor.

- Step 2: Add a spoonful of vegan vanilla yogurt into the middle of each date.

- Step 3: Dust with cocoa powder. Enjoy!

- Optional: Drizzle with melted chocolate or add a sprinkle of cacao nibs for more chocolate flavor.
Megan’s Tips
- Use medjool dates: Medjool dates are soft, large, naturally sweet, and caramel-like, which works really great in these tiramisu stuffed dates. Other date varieties tend to be smaller, less tender, and not as sweet.
- Pipe the filling: Use a piping bag (or a ziplock bag with the corner cut) to fill the dates cleanly.
- Wait to add the cocoa powder: Dust with cocoa powder just before serving for the best presentation.
FAQs
Store your tiramisu stuffed dates in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Dust with cocoa powder just before serving.
Freshly brewed, leftover black coffee, or cold brew all work. Hot or cold, the temperature doesn’t matter.

What company yogurt did you use
I like Siggi’s plant-based vanilla yogurt or Cocojune’s high-protein vanilla!
These are so easy to make and a perfect sweet treat that is still healthy. Delicious!
