Peach Mango Smoothie
This peach mango smoothie tastes like sunshine in a glass, with bright, tropical flavors in every sip. Made with 6 ingredients and ready in 5 minutes, it’s thick, creamy, and perfect for breakfast, an afternoon snack, or a refreshing summer treat!

Every summer I buy way too many peaches at the farmers market (anyone else?), and if I don’t turn them into my healthy peach crisp, air fryer peaches, or single serve peach crisp, I slice and freeze them to make this smoothie. If you’ve never paired peaches with mango before, you’re in for a treat. The combination is SO GOOD!

What’s in This Peach Mango Smoothie?
- Frozen Peaches: Frozen peaches help create a thick, creamy smoothie without needing ice (which can water down the flavor). During peach season, I love slicing and freezing fresh peaches so I always have them ready for vegan smoothies.
- Frozen Mango: I almost always keep frozen mango chunks in my freezer for smoothies. They add natural sweetness and a tropical flavor that pairs so well with peaches (and in my tropical green smoothie).
- Oat Milk: I usually use oat milk because it’s extra creamy, but almond milk, soy milk, or coconut milk all work.
- Orange Juice: Adds a subtle citrus flavor that, when combined with the milk, gives this smoothie a delicious creamsicle flavor. I’ve tested it with and without the orange juice, and it’s definitely better with it!
- Protein Powder: I use a plant-based vanilla protein powder which adds protein and makes the smoothie thicker. You can also leave it out, it’ll still be delicious.
- Ground Flaxseed: This is optional, but I like to add ½ tablespoon for extra fiber and omega-3 fats. You won’t taste it! You can also use chia seeds or hemp hearts.

How to Make a Peach Mango Smoothie

- Step 1: Add the frozen mango, frozen peaches, orange juice, non-dairy milk, protein powder, and ground flaxseed (if using) to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy, adding a splash more milk or orange juice if needed.

- Step 2: Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately! I like to garnish mine with hemp seeds on top, but it’s totally optional.
My Tested Smoothie Tips
- Use frozen fruit: Frozen fruit is the secret to a thick and creamy smoothie without adding ice! I purposely don’t use ice in this smoothie because it dulls the flavor.
- Adjust the liquid: The amount you need depends on how thick you like your smoothie and how powerful your blender is. Smaller blenders may need extra liquid to blend smoothly. I use a personal-sized Nutribullet.
- Blend longer than you think: This is a tip I always share! Most smoothies become much creamier after an extra 20–30 seconds of blending.
Smoothie Variations to Try
Here are a few easy ways to customize it based on what you have on hand.
- Frozen vs. fresh fruit: Frozen fruit gives you the thickest, creamiest texture, but if you only have fresh fruit, just freeze it overnight.
- Make it sweeter: I think it’s naturally sweet enough, but if your fruit wasn’t very ripe or you prefer a sweeter smoothie, add one pitted medjool date or ripe banana. I’ve tried it with banana and it gives the smoothie an even creamier texture.
- Add yogurt: When I first tested this recipe, I added ¼ cup vegan yogurt to try and make it ultra creamy. After making it again without the yogurt, I realized it didn’t make a huge difference, so I left it out. If you have some in the fridge, feel free to add it, but it’s definitely not necessary!
- Add healthy fats: Sometimes I add one tablespoon of homemade almond butter which adds a delicious nutty flavor.
- Add more fruit: Strawberries, raspberries, or pineapple would all be delicious! Just reduce the amount of peaches or mango slightly to keep the same consistency.
- Add greens: Add a handful of spinach or kale. Note: the smoothie will turn green, but you won’t taste the greens.
- Make a peach mango smoothie bowl: Reduce the milk by ¼–½ cup for a thicker consistency, then top with vegan granola or whatever toppings you like!
FAQs
Reduce the amount of liquid or add vegan yogurt/banana. I recommend starting with less liquid and adding more as needed. You can always thin out a smoothie, but you can’t take liquid back out!
Yes, fresh peaches will work, but you’ll have to freeze them first.
To freeze fresh peaches, wash, peel, slice, and remove the pits. Spread the peach slices in a single layer on a baking sheet and freeze until firm, then transfer them to a freezer-safe bag or container. Freezing them this way prevents the slices from sticking together, so you can easily grab what you need.
Yes! Reduce the milk by ¼–½ cup to get a thicker consistency, then top with vegan granola, shredded coconut, fresh peaches, and hemp seeds (or whatever toppings you want!)
