Notes
Use a frozen banana. I always freeze my ripe bananas so I have them ready for smoothies and smoothie bowls. It’s a great habit to start instead of tossing out overripe bananas!
Sweeten to taste. I find this smoothie is the perfect balance of sweetness, but if you like it extra sweet, try adding 1 pitted medjool date or 1 tablespoon of maple syrup.
Swap the peanut butter. You can easily swap the peanut butter for almond butter, or use sunflower seed butter for a nut-free option.
Boost your smoothie. Add protein powder, ground flaxseed, maca powder, hemp seeds, or even spinach (you won’t taste it!).
