These easy air fryer apples are warm, cinnamon-spiced, and ready in 15 minutes. Enjoy them over oatmeal, yogurt, or ice cream for a healthy fall dessert!
Wash, core, and dice the apples into bite-sized pieces (peeling is optional; I like to leave the skin on for extra fiber).
In a medium bowl, toss the apples with cinnamon, maple syrup, coconut oil, and vanilla extract until everything is evenly coated. Spread the apples in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Air fry at 375°F for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the apples are golden and caramelized.
Remove from the air fryer and serve warm with vanilla ice cream, oatmeal, yogurt, or on its own. Enjoy!
Notes
Dice evenly: Make sure the apples are cut into similar-sized chunks so they cook evenly. Smaller chunks = softer, saucy apples. Bigger chunks = more bite.
Don’t overcrowd: Spread the apples in a single layer for an even bake, and don't forget to shake the basket halfway through!
Adjust the sweetness: Depending on your apples (and your sweet tooth), you can add more/less maple syrup.
Spice it up: Add a pinch of nutmeg, pumpkin pie spice, or even cardamom to make them extra cozy.
